Whole Body Vibration (WBV) technology is designed in such a way that it gives the muscles a high speed work-out, each 20 minute session is the equivalent to a 60 minute conventional strenuous exercise workout. The vibrations stimulate the muscles to first contract and then relax. Standing on the plate in various positions will allow the muscles to contract between 30-50 times per second. This is called an automatic muscle reflex.
